CAZENOVIA, N.Y. -- There are classic cars, and then there are Franklins. These century-old automobiles were rolling through the streets of Cazenovia on Sunday as part of the 59th annual Franklin Trek.

Each year, owners from around the country get together to share their love for the one-of-a-kind cars. They were built by the H.H. Franklin Manufacturing Company from 1902 until 1934, and owners say there is nothing like them.

"Being air cooled. They're the only American successful air cooled car of the era. Many others tried it, and just couldn't succeed, so they're just a mechanical wonder," said Bob Metro, co-chairman of Franklin Trek.

The Trek runs through the end of the week with events planned in Skaneateles on Monday.
