Men arrested in Western store burglary

HERKIMER, N.Y. -- Police arrested two men after a break-in at the Desperado Western Wear store on South Main Street in Herkimer. Police say they broke in through the large display window.

One of the men was spotted in the King Street area wearing a cowboy hat. The other was taken into custody.

Andrew Bennett, 22, was arrested and faces multiple charges including third degree burglary, criminal mischief, trespass and grand larceny. Bail has been set at $10,000.

Steven Guyer, 21, was charged with possession of stolen property, and was released on an appearance ticket.
