BROOME COUNTY, N.Y -- The search continues for the man who held up a bank in Whitney Point last week and was then seen riding away on his bike. It happened August 1st at the NBT Bank on Route 11.

Originally seen in surveillance video on a bike, a State Police investigation now reveals the suspect fled the area in a black pickup truck. No word when a transfer may have taken place.

Some of the stolen money apparently fell out of the truck. It was picked up by citizens and turned in to the police.

The black pickup truck was last seen on Route 26 headed for Endicott.

Anyone with information is asked to call State Police at (607) 775-1241.
