DELAWARE COUNTY, N.Y. -- A Delaware County man has been sentenced to 25 years in prison plus five years post release supervision after pleading guilty to manslaughter last month.

Police say Andrew Hafele, 38, and Michael Mills Jr., 20, had gotten into a fight inside a shed next to a home on Airport Road in the Town of Deposit last September. They say Hafele hit Mills with a hammer several times, killing him.

As part of his sentencing, Hafele will also have to give a DNA sample.
