HERKIMER COUNTY, N.Y. -- A Herkimer County man who led police on a two day manhunt will spend the next ten years behind bars.

Russell Marcum was sentenced to two five year terms, which will run consecutively.

Back in September, police say Marcum committed several burglaries. While on the run, he broke into two homes in West Winfield, stealing a loaded gun from one and a cell phone and car from the other.

Marcum was originally scheduled to go on trial before he accepted a plea deal.
