BROOME COUNTY, N.Y. -- Security officials found a loaded gun at the Greater Binghamton Airport. The Transportation Security Administration says the weapon was found early Tuesday morning in a carry-on bag.

Officials say the Ruger gun was loaded with six bullets, none of which were chambered.

The security checkpoint was closed briefly during the incident.

The passenger was arrested by local authorities and charged with criminal possession of a weapon.
