ST. LAWRENCE COUNTY, N.Y. -- A St. Lawrence County man has been accused of raping a child.

The St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s office arrested Edwin Bevins Jr., 25, for allegedly having sexual contact with a victim under the age of 15 during July of 2010.

Bevins has been charged with three counts of felony rape in the second degree and endangering the welfare of a child. He was arraigned in the Town of Pierrepont Court and is being held on $15,000 cash bail.
