AUBURN, N.Y. -- An Auburn man is arrested for an alleged stabbing in the city. Police were called to a home on Spring Street around 1:30 a.m. on Sunday. When officers arrived, they found the victim, 22, with two stab wounds to the abdominal area.

The victim was taken to University Hospital in Syracuse for emergency surgery. Police arrested Marcus Gaffney in connection with the stabbing. He is charged with first degree assault and fourth degree criminal possession of a weapon.
