Woman arrested after high-speed chase
ONEIDA COUNTY, N.Y. -- An Oneida County woman has been arrested after leading authorities on a high-speed chase.
Village of Boonville Police were called to a report of a domestic dispute at the Stewart's Shop on Route 46 on Sunday night. When they arrived, Mellisa Davis-Fenn, 43, got into her pickup truck and fled the scene.
She then led police on a high-speed chase down Route 46 into the Town of Western. That's when county sheriff's deputies deployed a spike strip, forcing Davis-Fenn's vehicle off the road.
She was treated at the hospital but later sent to the Oneida County Jail. Davis-Fenn is facing numerous charges including DWI, unlawful fleeing police, reckless driving, and criminal mischief. Authorities said further charges are pending.
