Two teens injured when SUV crashes with ATV

TOWN OF ONONDAGA, N.Y. -- Sheriff's deputies have identified the two people who were hurt when SUV collided with an ATV in the town of Onondaga. It happened around 9:30 p.m. Monday on the 3600 block of Cedarvale Road.

Sheriff's deputies say James Otis, 15, was operating his ATV when he lost control. Otis' friend, Rosario Laframboise, 18, was following behind him in an SUV and was unable to avoid Otis, crashing into the ATV.

Otis was airlifted to Upstate University Hospital but we're told his injuries are not life threatening. Laframboise sustained minor injuries and was taken to the hospital by ambulance.

No tickets have been issued.
