Butter sculpture to be unveiled next Wednesday
NYS FAIRGROUNDS – The annual butter sculpture will be unveiled next week at the New York State Fair. Many fair-goers will stop into the Dairy Products building to see the butter sculpture, which serves as the building’s centerpiece during the fair.
Last year’s butter sculpture theme paid tribute to food service cafeteria workers in New York State schools, with the title “Feeding Our Future.” In 2010, the theme was “Dairyville 2020.”
We’ll find out what this year’s butter sculpture looks like at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 22nd. The State Fair kicks off the following day.
