Motorcyclist dies from injuries

ONONDAGA COUNTY, N.Y. -- The victim in a motorcycle crash on Interstate 81 has died from his injuries.

State Police say Timothy Straight, 51, of Pitcher, New York, lost control of his motorcycle around 11:30 a.m. Friday and hit a guard rail just south of the 481 exit. He was taken to Upstate University Hospital, where he later died.

Police are asking anyone who witnessed the crash or was in the area when it happened to call them at (315) 455-2826.
