JEFFERSON COUNTY, NY. -- A Jefferson County man has been arrested for allegedly defrauding Citizens Bank out of more than $68,000.

Officials say Charles Warner, 61, of Theresa, was involved in an ongoing forged check casing scheme. He has been charged with grand larceny.

Warner was arraigned in the Town of Orleans Court and is in the custody of the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department. His bail is set at $15,000.
