Man injured in Cherry Street shooting
SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Syracuse Police are investigating a shooting that sent one man to the hospital. It happened on the 200 block of Cherry Street around 5:30 p.m. Friday.
Police say Rondell Young, 25, was grazed on top of his head while walking down the street. Young was taken to Upstate University Hospital in a private vehicle. Police say his injury is minor.
