OTSEGO COUNTY, N.Y. -- The city of Oneonta is in the process of filling their newly created City Manager position. The job was established as a major component in the new city charter. It was approved by voters last year, and this week, the interviewing process begins.

Two candidates will be interviewed on Tuesday. Others have been scheduled and several more are still up for consideration.

The Common Council is expected to make a decision on the position sometime this fall.
