DRYDEN, N.Y. -- State Police continue to investigate a crash that killed one person and injured five others in Dryden. Police say a van headed west on State Route 79 on Monday crossed into the oncoming lane and hit a car carrying three people.

A passenger, Myra Moran, 94, of Newfield, was pronounced dead. The other two people in that vehicle, along with all three people in the van, were hospitalized.

The extent of their injuries is unknown.

State Police say charges could be filed, pending the outcome of their investigation.
