NORTH COUNTRY, N.Y. -- Patty Ritchie won her first re-election campaign. She will continue to serve as State Senator in the 48th District.

Ritchie easily defeated Democrat Amy Tressider by 40 points.

Oswego, Jefferson and Saint Lawrence counties make up that district.
