SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Syracuse police have released surveillance video of a robbery that happened this past weekend.
Police say an armed man stole cash and cigarettes from the Northside Market on Oak Street early Sunday morning. They say the suspect robbed the store employee at gunpoint.
No one was hurt during the incident.
Police are still searching for the suspect.
"This is the third armed robbery that we've had involving a handgun in a store. We'd really like to try to get this guy in custody before we have any other incidents or before anyone gets hurt," said Syracuse Police Sgt. Tom Connellan.
Police also want remind anyone who witnesses an armed robbery about staying safe. They say to comply with the suspect and try to remember as many details about the person for officers later.
