SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- It was an exciting send-off for the Fowler High School soccer team Friday morning. The team is heading down to Middletown to win the title of State Champions. Before boarding the bus, the school showed their support by holding a pep rally through the halls and outside the main entrance.

One player says they've been practicing hard so they can bring home the state championship trophy.

"Sometimes you want to quit, but at the same time again, why would you quit? You've been playing soccer for two years, so you just keep going. The motivation of our coach, the motivation of our supporters, the motivation of the community, it's something that keeps us playing soccer everyday and keep doing it," said Titan Butikima, Fowler High School junior.

Fowler is playing Port Chester Saturday, and if they win that game, they will go onto the final game on Sunday.
