JOHNSON CITY, N.Y. -- A daycare provider in Johnson City has been arrested for having crack cocaine in her home, and keeping it within reach of a child.

A special investigations task force raided the home of Theresa Sunderland on Thursday and found five ounces of both powder and crack cocaine, cash, and a digital scale. The house, on Bernice Street in Johnson City, doubled as her business, called Mother Theresa's Daycare.

Police say the amount of drugs in the house had a street value of more than $14,000.

Sunderland is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance as well as endangering the welfare of a child. She was arraigned and sent to Broome County Jail.
