Shooting in Binghamton leaves man in critical condition

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. -- A man is battling for his life after being shot in Binghamton Sunday morning.

Police say they found Daniel Miley lying on the ground along Gerard Avenue around 3:30 a.m. Sunday. He was found shortly after a report of shots fired near Chapin Street.

Miley was taken to Wilson Hospital, where he underwent emergency surgery. Right now, he's listed in critical condition.

Binghamton Police are asking anyone with information on the shooting to give them a call at (607) 772-7080.
