SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- A holiday tradition of giving continued Tuesday morning at Carrier, as employees of the company celebrated Christmas early with more than 100 kindergartners from the Seymour Dual Language Academy in Syracuse.

Carrier formed a partnership with the school back in 1989, and every year invites Santa and his elves, along with a few others from the North Pole to deliver gifts to the kids. The children pass along their wish lists each year, and Carrier employees step up to help bring joy to the kids' faces.

"The employees here look forward to this event each year. They always put it on their calendar ahead of time. And, they know that these are children, that again, may not have this opportunity otherwise. So, we are, we look forward to giving them this opportunity every year," said Louanne Mann, Global Community Affairs Coordinator.

Carrier's focus on education extends far beyond their relationship with Seymour. Over the years, employees have tutored children, volunteered in classrooms, and helped out with summer academic programs.
