STEUBEN COUNTY, N.Y. -- Nearly $23 million will be spent on improvements in the Addison Central School District. Voters passed the referendum 378 to 264.

The school district says the $22.9 million project will have no tax impact on residents or businesses. The project will allow for infrastructure and facility updates for each of the school buildings.

The design process will take up to eight months and then will head to the state education department for approval. Construction is then expected to begin by spring 2014 and will be completed by the end of 2015.
