CHENANGO COUNTY, N.Y. -- A search is underway for a missing Chenango County woman.

Sheriff's deputies say Jennifer Ramsaran, 36, was reported missing Tuesday after leaving her home in the Town of New Berlin to go shopping. She reportedly told her husband she was going to Destiny USA in Syracuse to shop. She never returned and her cell phone was found the next day on State Route 23 in the Town of Plymouth.

Investigators say she was driving a maroon, 2006 Chrysler Town and Country minivan with New York plates EFA1962. They also believe she may have changed her hair color and style before leaving on Tuesday.
