Soldiers returning home for the holidays

SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- A group of soldiers is returning to Central New York just in time for the holidays. More than one hundred New York National Guard soldiers will arrive in Syracuse around 7 p.m.

The group is part of the 27th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, which was deployed to Kuwait in January. The soldiers who live outside of Central New York be dropped-off at several locations throughout the state

Over the past week, more than two hundred additional soldiers returned back to their families. About five hundred more soldiers are expected to return as we head into the New Year.
