By: Web Staff

SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Two men will be arraigned today in connection with a stabbing of the Syracuse Police chief's son.

According to investigators, it happened at the Upstate Convenience Market along South Avenue just after midnight Sunday. Frank Fowler Jr., 22, was stabbed inside the store. He was taken to a nearby hospital and is expected to recover.

Police say two people have been charged in connection to the attack. Demetruis Archie, 23, is charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon. Antwan Underwood, 23, is charged with assault, resisting arrest, harassment, along with other drug related charges.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Syracuse Police Department.

This is the second time in three months Fowler, Jr. was the victim of a stabbing. On October 21st, Onondaga County sheriff's deputies said the Syracuse Police chief's son was hurt in a large fight at Lulu's Bar and Grille on Brewerton Road in Cicero. Investigators say 100 people were involved in the scrum. Fowler suffered minor injuries.
