ONEIDA, N.Y. -- In the current digital age, we've seen a number of print publications restructure in order to stay afloat, most notably the Syracuse Post-Standard. Now, the Oneida Daily Dispatch is following in their footstep.

Beginning February 3rd, the Oneida Dispatch will only be printing for home delivery three days a week: Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.

They will continue to post news online all week long, but the Editor of the Dispatch says the push for digital news offers many benefits that a daily paper cannot compete with.

"Our digital numbers are going up and up, through the roof and our newspaper industry, while we have seen a small increase in our circulation, the trend is generally down. People want immediate news," said Oneida Daily Dispatch Editor Kurt Wanfried.

No employees are expected to be affected by the change at the Dispatch.
