Cooperstown Elementary, High School on lockdown Wednesday
COOPERSTOWN, N.Y. -- Cooperstown Elementary and High School spent part of the day on lockdown Wednesday while police investigated a possible threat.
Around 10 a.m., the main office of the elementary school alerted police about a situation involving a possible threat being made toward the school.
Parents were notified of the lockdown, however, an investigation by the Sheriff's office and local police found that no threat actually existed.
Cooperstown Police say they are still investigating, but don't expect anything more to come of the report.
