Wednesday marked the first day high school seniors who play football, soccer, track & field, and cross-country could officially commit to their college choices and several local athletes took the opportunity to put their pens to paper.

Baldwinsville celebrated Tyler Rouse going to Boston College for football and Emma Ferinze staying close to home to play soccer at Syracuse, Jamesville-DeWitt cheered on Jessica Holmes as she signed with Boston College soccer, and Bishop Ludden's Corey Wilkinson made himself a military man, committing to Army football.
