NEW YORK CITY, N.Y. -- Roll out the red carpet. Reem Acra's fall collection is about to make you look picture perfect.

Acra said, “I just got back from Japan and on my way, I found this book by a Japanese photographer that inspired me so much. He took fishnet on the body and photographed it in a very different way.”

The designer took the same idea and started to drape fishnet over these dresses. It's a collection she's calling worldly.

“It combines a French attitude with an American simplicity,” Acra said.

And with these dramatic looks you're bound to turn heads when the leaves fall.

“I want women to feel more powerful and I want to give them that strength,” Acra said.

And now we leave Reem Acra and head over to Ralph Rucci's runway.

Ralph Rucci didn’t have to search far for fall inspiration. The designer of nearly three decades decided to revisit some of his older ideas that never made it down the runway.

Rucci said, “I start with work I’ve left off behind and try to perfect that. I always say it’s sort of a vortex in bringing in and distilling what you thought was important but you never had time to refine property.”

Rucci experimented with layered looks and plenty of textures to create a space-age style.

“I’m throwing dresses over skirts or pants and then jackets over longer shorts, coats in the same manner,” Rucci said. “There’s a great deal of lace, I’ve never used lace in my entire life.”

And come the fall, Rucci's out of this world collection will get you a standing ovation.
