FORT DRUM, N.Y. -- Soldiers at the USO on Fort Drum got a sweet treat Wednesday morning from a sweet little girl.

When selling Girl Scout cookies, Brownie Annabelle Sweet asks her customers if they would like to buy a box to donate to our troops. Last year, she collected and handed out 60 boxes. This year, that number grew to 100.

The second grader says it's just something she likes to do.

"The soldiers do so much for us so I thought I could give them a cookie to make them smile," Sweet said.

Sweet says she will continue to donate the cookies and hopes to collect more next year, setting her goal at 200.
