Two arrested for four separate robberies

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. -- Binghamton police made two arrests following investigations into four different robberies.

Curtis Williams, 18, is charged with two counts of first-degree robbery. Police say he robbed a pizza delivery man at gunpoint on January 27th. Williams is also accused of robbing a Chinese restaurant delivery man at gunpoint the next day.

Police are still looking for a second suspect who they say was working with Williams during these robberies.

Another man, Richard Proper Jr., 24, also faces robbery charges for two separate incidents. Proper is accused of robbing the Rite Aid on Robinson Street last Friday and again on Sunday. Police say he displayed a knife during both of the incidents. They say Proper is also a suspect in other criminal cases being investigated.

If you have information about any of these four robberies or about any incidents involving Proper, call detectives at (607) 772-7080.
