EAST SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- A well-known attorney in Central New York is under investigation for child pornography.

State Police, Secret Service and the U.S. Marshal's Office searched the Martin J. Rothschild Law Office on Bridge Street in East Syracuse Tuesday morning, as well as Rothschild's home in Manlius.

Police removed several computers and electronic devices, but did not release any further information.

Onondaga County District Attorney William Fitzpatrick confirms that the warrant was issued to search for child pornography. He says the case is not work-related, there are no allegations of sexual abuse and no charges have been filed at this time.

In addition, Rothschild has not been arrested, but the investigation is ongoing.

Fitzpatrick says it will probably take a week for forensic analysis to be completed on the computers that were seized.

We did place a call to Rothschild's Law office, and were told they had no comment.
