Camp has a different feel for Jones this year
Going into camp last year, Donald Jones was just hoping to earn a spot on the team. This year, Jones is battling to remain the teams number two wide receiver.
After landing the number two spot following the trade of Lee Evens last summer, Jones appeared in just half of last years games making 23 catches for 231 yards and one score due to ankle injuries.
This year camp is a lot different for the player that looks to be a regular part of the Bills offense.
"last year when I came in I was just looking for a special teams roll again you know just trying to get on the offense," said Jones. "And now I have a roll in this offense and it's just getting the timing down with Ryan Fitzpatrick now. Last year coming in like I said I was trying to just make it."
The Bills with one more workout at St. John Fisher on Tuesday. Thursday night they host the Washington Redskins in the preseason opener.
