BRIDGEPORT, Conn. - After nearly a month of moving in the right direction, the Syracuse Crunch's playoff push finally stalled on Friday with a 3-1 defeat at Bridgeport.
The loss ended an 11-game point streak for Syracuse, which is now one point ahead of Manchester for seventh place in the Eastern Conference playoff race with four games remaining. The Crunch remain three points ahead of Portland, which is the first team out of the playoff picture.
Syracuse next plays at Hershey Saturday night.
